    STEM Learning activities enhance the National Curriculum, put learning into a real context, develop essential workplace skills such as teambuilding, and develop new teaching and learning strategies.

    We organise a whole range of exciting events for ages 5 to 18: most are linked to our Activities. Some of our events are local, others are regional events for the southwest, and these can feed into UK national and International events. The STEM Learning Network also knows of other events open to schools; please ask us if you would like more information, or contact us via our email links.

    Our target audience is: young people, parents, teachers, schools, colleges, higher education, businesses, government agencies, LEAs and other organisations. STEM Learning's unique contribution to the scientific engineering and technological development of young people is the provision of activities that link learning with real industrial and research contexts. This theme pervades most of the projects in the Learning Link portfolio, and offers extensive professional development opportunities for teachers, engineers, scientists, and others.
