Bath pupils shine at Rolls Royce Innovation Awards 2008

participating pupils from Oldfield SchoolFour pupils from Oldfield School have scooped a major science accolade at the Rolls Royce Innovation Awards, held at the University of Bath.

Over 500 pupils from 33 schools from across the South West took part in the event, which was held in the Founders Sports Hall.

Teams of pupils were challenged at the start of the year to work on various science projects, which they presented to 60 judges from 30 different companies and organisations across the region.

Bath Taps into Science 2008

2008 saw a major change for Bath Taps into Science. For the first time since its inception eight years ago, it moved to a different venue.  Whilst the event remained at its traditional home of Green Park Station on Saturday 8th March 2008, on Friday 7th March it moved to the Founders Complex Sports Hall at the University of Bath.
